Enjoy an intimate look at the family that created Biltmore with our exhibition, The Vanderbilts at Home and Abroad. This exhibition sheds light on the time the Vanderbilts spent as a family at Biltmore and beyond. Located in Antler Hill Village.

Equestrian Center - Ride Biltmore Program

$30 per person with estate admission, plus applicable tax.

Enjoy more than 80 miles of well-marked estate trails with your horse. Limited primitive camping and access to our rental paddocks are both available for additional fees.

Guided Hike: River Stroll

Included with a stay at The Inn, Village Hotel, or Cottage

Explore the estate’s East Side with an insider’s perspective on this relaxed-paced, one-hour guided stroll on partially paved trails. Meet your River Stroll leader at the Outdoor Adventure Center. Wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes; active wear is available at The Marble Lion retail shop within The Inn and at Antler Hill Outfitters in Antler Hill Village.

 

For overnight guests 10 and up only. Reservations required and may be taken one hour prior to hike; call 866-336-1245 or see concierge at The Inn or the Village Hotel front desk to reserve. Weather permitting: contact the Outdoor Adventure Center at 828-225-1425 prior to event.

Orchid Talks in the Conservatory

Enjoy a complimentary 45 minute talk about our beautiful orchid collection at peak bloom, with vibrant colors and delicate blossoms creating a new winter wonderland. Tour meets inside the center front doors of the Conservatory.

Experience a turn-of-the-century celebration through vivid audio storytelling and displays of clothing recreated from Vanderbilt photos and portraits. A custom Exhibition Audio Guided Tour* immerses you in an era of leisurely days and glamorous nights—realistic 360° sound techniques and stories told by characters based on people who lived and worked at Biltmore in the early 1900s allow you to imagine you are there as guests and staff prepare for A Vanderbilt House Party.
