Guided Hike: River Stroll

Explore the estate’s East Side with an insider’s perspective on this relaxed-paced, one-hour guided stroll on partially paved trails. Meet your River Stroll leader at the Outdoor Adventure Center. Wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes; active wear is available at The Marble Lion retail shop within The Inn and at Antler Hill Outfitters in Antler Hill Village.

Orchid Talks in the Conservatory

Enjoy a complimentary 45 minute talk about our beautiful orchid collection at peak bloom, with vibrant colors and delicate blossoms creating a new winter wonderland. Capacity is limited; reservations can be made during the day of your visit at any Guest Services location. Tour meets inside the center front doors of the Conservatory.

Valentine’s Day Dinner in The Dining Room

Sparkling Soirée: Gilded Age Masquerade

Kick off our new exhibition, A Vanderbilt House Party – the Gilded Age, with a masquerade celebration so grand it can only be held in Biltmore’s most stunning new venue: Amherst Ballroom. Behold live aerial performances that take full advantage of the Ballroom’s soaring 17-foot ceiling. Enjoy an evening of live entertainment, music, dancing, a photobooth, and a costume contest. Delight your palate with savory canapés, sweet petit fours, a selection of Biltmore wines, and the exclusive introduction of our new red dessert wine, Mariporta. Don a mask, choose your most elegant attire, and join us for this truly one-of-a-kind Biltmore event.
