More to Do
Designed for Drama
Elegantly displayed throughout Biltmore House through July 4, this stunning exhibition pairs books from George Vanderbilt’s 22,000-volume library with more than 40 costumes from 13 films inspired by those very same literary works. Films represented include Sherlock Holmes, Finding Neverland, Pride & Prejudice, and Anna Karenina, winner of the 2013 Academy Award® for Best Achievement in Costume Design. This exhibition is included in estate admission.
Antler Hill Village & Winery
Antler Hill Village is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day on the estate, where you can enjoy live music daily, and opportunities to relax with the refreshment of your choice, whether that’s a glass of wine, an ice-cold beer, or an ice cream cone. Browse our shops, enjoy a meal at one of our restaurants, savor award-winning vintages at our Winery’s newly renovated indoor/outdoor wine bar, or pay a visit to our Farmyard to pet the friendly farm babies.
Tours and Outdoor Activities
Engaging tour opportunities include behind-the-scenes tours of Biltmore House and the estate, and special tours and tastings at our Winery. For those interested in exploring more of Biltmore’s 8,000 acres, our Outdoor Adventure Center provides an abundance of outdoor pursuits, from biking, horseback riding, and carriage rides, to Segway tours and Land Rover off-road driving, and such river-based options as float trips, kayaking, and stand up paddle boarding.
Summer means fresh flavors from Biltmore’s gardens and local farms, ranging from tender lettuces and asparagus to estate-raised lamb and artisan cheeses from area producers. Talented estate chefs take the season’s bounty to devise menus that pair perfectly with Biltmore’s award-winning wines, signature cocktails, and craft beers. Summertime holidays add expanded offerings for brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner across the estate.
